Run 4 Wales extends Enthuse fundraising partnership until 2031

The new five-year agreement builds on the existing partnership that sees Enthuse support fundraising across the full portfolio of Run 4 Wales events

Run 4 Wales has announced a five-year extension to its partnership with digital donations, fundraising and event registration platform, Enthuse – taking it all the way through to 2031.

As part of the relationship, Enthuse supports all Run 4 Wales events, including the Cardiff Half Marathon, CDF 10K, ABP Newport Wales Marathon, Porthcawl 10K, Barry Island 10k, and Dell Technologies Management Challenge.

The partnership with Enthuse provides charities and their participants with fundraising pages that are:

  • Co-branded to their cause and Run 4 Wales events for greater awareness and improved brand recall, helping good causes build long-term relationships beyond event day
  • Fully integrated with event registration to ensure 100% fundraising page creation, making it easy for participants to start fundraising immediately and ultimately raise more

The decision to extend the partnership comes after a strong year of fundraising results across the board. Most notably, the Cardiff Half Marathon – Wales’ largest mass participation and multi-charity fundraising event – which saw a 71% increase in fundraising from 2025 to 2026.

Matt Newman, Chief Executive at Run 4 Wales, said:

“We’re really proud that so many participants use our events to raise money for good causes. This partnership with Enthuse is all about delivering the biggest possible impact for charities, participants and their supporters by offering a simple and effective fundraising journey.”

“In the short time we’ve worked with Enthuse, we’ve already seen significant fundraising growth which is why we’re delighted to announce an extension to the partnership until 2031. We’ve made great strides and we’re really excited by what we can achieve together in the coming years.”

Eddie Allenby, General Manager, Enthuse added:

“We’re delighted that Run 4 Wales has put its trust in Enthuse to power charity fundraising across its entire event portfolio for a further five years. The fundraising growth these events have seen since working together shows what’s possible when charities are put in the spotlight. With charity-branded fundraising pages automatically created upon sign-up, it’s never been easier for participants to hit the ground running.

“We know that Run 4 Wales events are a key part of fundraising plans for local and national charities in Wales and beyond. Ensuring that good causes have access to best-in-class fundraising as part of these world-class events is a priority for us, and we’re keen to continue innovating to help them raise even more in the coming years.”

Enthuse will continue to be the official fundraising platform for the full suite of Run 4 Wales events, including Wales’ largest multi-charity fundraising event, the Cardiff Half Marathon.
